The cost of these imported Electric Blankets were very high. But now these blankets are manufactured and used in India in a very big way. These blankets require 220 volts ac supply. These are mainly used in household and hotels/guest-house/hostels. The blankets are provided with triple insulation and thermostat cut off device. These blankets are used as under spreads comfortable and cosy. For best results the electric blanket after spreading it on the bed and covering it with quilt/blanket be switched on for preheating the bedding half an hour before entering the bed at sleep time.
